My journey began in 2016 with product development and sourcing. I loved the challenge of finding the right factory for each product, because no two are quite the same. When I came across Epic Sourcing in 2024 it felt like the right fit, so I joined the team.
I am still working hands on in sourcing, and that is where I want to be.
Estela works behind the scenes as the execution arm of the sourcing process. A Case Manager handles the initial client conversations and gathers the product requirements, then passes that brief to her. From there she finds the right suppliers, negotiates pricing and lead times, manages sample development, and works with colleagues to oversee production, run quality control, and coordinate shipping.
Being on the ground in a major factory region matters more than it sounds. She has worked with trading companies and directly with overseas clients across a range of product categories, and she knows the local supplier landscape well enough to get to a factory at short notice when something needs resolving in person.
