I started my career in manufacturing procurement. I later moved to finished goods procurement, then shifted to foreign trade sourcing. Those roles are closely connected, because they all come down to working with suppliers, controlling quality, and getting an order delivered end to end.
I am fully engaged in sourcing work at Epic Sourcing now. I keep expanding the pool of qualified suppliers, keep communication running smoothly between clients and factories, and drive the procurement side from start to finish.
Away from work I am into hiking.
Iris gets involved from the first client enquiry. She prepares the quotation, follows up until it is confirmed, arranges sample production, confirms the approved sample, and carries it through to placing the mass production order. She stays in close contact with the client across the whole procurement cycle.
She is deeply familiar with the manufacturing supply chains across the Pearl River Delta, and maintains close connections with a large number of local factories. That is what makes evaluating an alternative factory, or pushing for a better price, practical rather than theoretical.
