White label means minimal customisation on an existing product. That is a colour change only, or an off-the-shelf product rebranded with your logo and packaging. It is not private-label customisation and not full product development from scratch.
White label is Epic Sourcing’s entry-level package for NZ businesses that want a ready-made product with their brand on it. Setup is $2,499 NZD one-off, plus a 15% order managing fee on each manufacturing order. Best when design, branding, and packaging are already ready.
White label is the lightest of Epic’s three core packages. You bring a clear brief and ready creative. Epic finds suppliers, coordinates sampling through golden sample, then manages production, QC, and logistics under your supervision.
Consultation & research: Scope your white-label brief (category, target cost, MOQ, markets, compliance needs) and agree the project plan before any factory outreach.
Supplier prospecting: Shortlist factories that already make a close match so you can rebrand with minimal customisation.
Supplier verification: Check capability, quality history, and fit for a white-label / brand-on run before you spend on samples.
Preliminary quotes through sample coordination: Obtain early pricing, place and track sample orders, and manage shipping of samples so you can review physical product quickly.
Sample adjustment & golden sample sign-off: Iterate pack and product details that white-label allows (labels, print, colour, minor pack tweaks) until you approve a golden sample.
Detailed quotes, landing costs & contract negotiation: Lock production pricing and estimated landed cost into New Zealand, then negotiate MOQs and commercial terms for the first order.
Production monitoring, QC, shipping & NZ inbound: Oversee the production run, quality checks, freight, and customs/inbound coordination for delivery into New Zealand.
Ongoing support: After the first order, each new manufacturing order is managed under the 15% order managing fee (production oversight, QC, supplier follow-up, logistics coordination), not a monthly retainer.
White label runs the same 14-step Epic sourcing process as every core package. The product already exists, so speed to a sellable SKU is the goal.
