In Elise's words

My background spans food science, fashion design, branding, marketing, events and project coordination. I was drawn to sourcing because it brings those areas together: understanding a product, translating creative ideas into practical requirements, and helping clients and factories communicate clearly. Meeting TK was also a big part of why I decided to give sourcing a try, and why I chose to stay.

In July 2026, one of my first in person client meetings in the fashion sector at Epic was with a team developing cycling shorts. They brought a hand sewn prototype developed with input from a urologist, and we talked through materials, fit, and the pathway towards a proper tech pack and factory development. A tech pack is the set of drawings, measurements and material specifications a factory needs before it can make a garment properly. I like meeting people with a creative vision and helping them work towards making it real.

I now manage a broad portfolio of sourcing and product development projects across fashion, packaging, consumer products, lighting, outdoor equipment and other specialist categories. My job is to keep clients, the China sourcing team and the practical realities of each project aligned, and to make sure clients feel informed and looked after throughout.

Outside work I study counselling, run a women focused podcast, and enjoy golf, Pilates, hiking, surfing and snowboarding. I also love good books, meaningful conversations and great food.

How Elise works with clients today

Elise usually comes in at the first detailed conversation after a client comes on board. She helps clarify what they want to create, what matters most to them, what information is still missing, and what is commercially realistic. From there she coordinates with the relevant sourcing specialists, keeps communication moving between clients and factories, explains the options and the trade offs, and supports the project through supplier research, quotations, sampling, product development, quality checks and problem solving.

Can do, will do.

On a typical day that means leading an onboarding or follow up meeting, turning a product discussion into a clear brief, passing questions between the client and the China sourcing team, reviewing supplier feedback, and sorting out whatever comes up as a project moves along.
